Job Summary

The Brand Lead is responsible for the development, execution, and monitoring of brand strategies to ensure strong market presence, consumer engagement, and sales support within the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Execution


Develop and execute annual and monthly BTL brand plans.
Ensure consistent brand communication across all channels.
Drive market visibility initiatives including OOH (billboards, bus branding, signage).
Supervise production and deployment of POSMs.


Market Intelligence


Generate and analyze market insights including:
Pricing trends
Consumer feedback
Branding gaps
Competitor activities
Provide actionable recommendations based on insights.


Activation Oversight


Monitor monthly activations to ensure:
Correct brand messaging
Proper POSM usage
Compliance with brand asset standards


Regulatory & Compliance1


Coordinate and secure approvals from regulatory bodies (NAFDAC, ARCON, EAASA, etc.).
Ensure brand assets meet all regulatory and quality standards.


Reporting & Coordination


Maintain monthly POSM deployment tracker.
Execute structured monthly travel plans focused on insight gathering and market monitoring.
Align with the regional sales team to address marketing needs and performance gaps.


Requirements:


HND/BSC in Marketing or any other relevant field
3 - 4 years in branding of a multinational company or fmcg.
