Role Purpose
The Brand Management & Marketing Assistant supports the Brand Manager in executing brand plans for food products. The role involves coordinating campaigns, managing brand assets, supporting innovation/renovation projects, tracking performance, and ensuring excellent execution across consumer touchpoints and in-store.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Plan & Campaign Coordination
Assist in developing and tracking the annual brand plan and activity calendar.
Coordinate campaign execution across digital, in-store, OOH, radio/TV channels.
Maintain and distribute brand assets ensuring consistency and compliance.
Consumer, Shopper & Category Insights
Consolidate market, consumer, and shopper insights from research and field teams.
Track category trends (pricing, promotions, competitors, NPD) and summarize implications.
Maintain insights repository and support preparation of briefs/presentations.
Innovation, Renovation & Packaging Support
Coordinate inputs and deliverables for innovation/renovation projects across cross-functional teams.
Manage packaging and artwork development, approvals, and version control.
Ensure product information accuracy in line with regulatory requirements.
In-Market Activation & Agency Coordination
Liaise with agencies/vendors to deliver campaigns on time, on budget, and to brand standards.
Support activations and product launches (sampling, roadshows, POS rollout).
Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure strong in-store execution.
Marketing Operations & Budget Administration
Raise and track purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
Maintain organized brand documentation (briefs, artwork, quotations, reviews).
Support meeting management: scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Compile monthly brand performance dashboards (sales, market share, distribution, digital KPIs).
Support post-campaign evaluations and document recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
1 - 2 years' experience (or strong internship experience) in brand/FMCG marketing, trade marketing, or agency support.
Experience in campaign execution and working with agencies/vendors is an advantage.
Strong coordination and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel (Power BI is an advantage).
High attention to detail and compliance with brand guidelines.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Creative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
