In this position you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Brand Growth Strategy and Execution


Develop and execute brand strategies that drive commercial and brand growth, market share growth, strengthen brand equity and deliver long-term business growth in line with company objectives


End-to-end Marketing campaign management


Lead the planning, development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for your assigned brands and markets.
Manage creative agency end to end - contracting, briefing and SPM.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and brand-aligned outcomes.


Driving Commercial and Brand Growth Win As One


Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize brand performance, and deliver both volume and value targets across key markets


Media and Channel Strategy and Management


Define the right channel and media mix for your brands.
Develop and execute the right connections plan annually that will deliver maximum and quality reach, frequency and engagement.


Innovation and NPI


Work closely with business unit brand and innovation teams to identify the right innovations from your brand and category extension in your market.
Manage end to end new product introduction gate processes and Go-to market for innovation products.


Go To Market Executional Excellence


Ensure best-in-class, timely and flawless execution of brand plans and activations at every touchpoint, partnering with sales and trade marketing to deliver consistent brand presence and consumer activity impact.


Product and Brand P&L Management


Own the brand's financial performance, managing budgets, pricing, and profitability to deliver sustainable business growth.


A&P Management


Management and ownership of brand Advertisement and promotional budgets to ensure that all budgets are being utilized and optimized as per annual approved A&P guidance and brand plans.


Marketing Operations and Project Management


Oversee day to day marketing operations, ensuring efficient project planning, timely delivery, and strong alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications & Skills:


A university degree
Innovative and growth lead strategic thinking
Good understanding of the complex economic and socio-political environment in Sub-Saharan Africa to successfully formulate strategies within these constraints
Sound technical knowledge of brand building, advertising, media, and marketing research disciplines
+3 years Marketing experience in FMCG, Beverage industry
Good financial acumen
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in Innovation and New Product Innovation governance and Go-to-Market
Knowledge and experience building brands within Retail and Pharmacy environment, leveraging HCP/Expert
