Developing and maintaining the social media and digital marketing strategy with clear quarterly goals and monthly review cycles
Building and maintaining a content calendar that balances clinical education, client stories, behind-the-scenes craftsmanship, and brand-building moments
Writing all long-form and short-form copy across every channel - captions, blog posts, website copy, press releases, video scripts, newsletters, and campaign copy
Developing client stories that move readers, with full consent, accuracy, and dignity
Managing CornerStone's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube - scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and community engagement
Planning, running, and optimising paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google with accountability to cost per lead, conversion rate, and return on ad spend
Managing the email and newsletter programme end-to-end - list growth, segmentation, copywriting, scheduling, and reporting
Briefing the AI Visual Producer on video and image content needs and reviewing creative output before publication
Working with the Rehabilitation Sciences team to source client stories with consent and clinical sensitivity
Tracking channel performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics, and reporting monthly to the Managing Director
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of focused experience in social media management, brand management, or digital marketing - with strong writing as a core part of the role
Minimum of a BSc
A portfolio of work - captions, articles, stories, campaigns, brand voice work - you can speak to in detail
Strong written English at a publishable standard
Hands-on experience running and optimising paid social campaigns (Meta Ads Manager at minimum)
Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Brevo, ConvertKit, MailerLite, or similar)
Comfort with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Sprout Social, or equivalent)
Strong visual judgement - able to give clear feedback on creative work without producing it yourself
Comfort with clinical and sensitive subject matter, written with care and dignity
Self-directed and able to work remotely without supervision
Available for periodic on-site presence in Benin City
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, healthtech, NGO, or other purpose-driven sectors
Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows
Basic graphic skills (Canva, Figma) for rapid in-house adjustments
Experience building or growing a brand from a small base

A clear portfolio of social media, brand, or digital marketing work with measurable outcomes (audience growth, engagement, conversions, campaign performance)
Writing samples that show emotional depth, clarity, and a recognisable voice — not just grammatical correctness
Evidence of work you personally led or substantially contributed to — with clarity on what you did versus what the team did
Examples of paid campaigns you have run, with the numbers behind them (budget, reach, conversion or lead figures)
Strong written communication in the application itself — your cover note is the first writing sample we will read
