Job Summary
The Broker Associate will support day-to-day logistics, procurement, and operational activities to ensure efficient coordination of shipments and compliance with import/export requirements.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating procurement, logistics, and inventory control processes.
Track shipments and liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Provide first-line customer support through professional email communications.
Work closely with the email team to manage inquiries, complaints, and updates.
Maintain accurate records through proper filing and documentation (electronic and physical).
Conduct research on trade and import requirements to support compliance and operational efficiency.
Analyze operational performance and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, import/export regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements
Minimum of OND or HND (Upper Credit) or BSc (Second Class Lower - 2:2) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Administrative Studies, or a related discipline.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
Experience in customer service and professional email communication.
Strong organizational, research, and record-keeping skills.
Working knowledge of freight forwarding, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
