Purpose of the job
To help programs and or projects to develop and maintain the design of cloud services within the Government Private Cloud Ecosystem.
This will include assisting in analysing of User Requirements, the design of cloud products and services and the management of related business architectures, business requirements, business modelling and product development lifecycle in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.
Key Responsibility Areas
Assist with clients (Govt Departments) management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of
Digital Transformation changes to improve interoperability of government systems and quality of services and deliverables including adoption of cloud principles.
Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through Digital Transformation Technologies/Platforms; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new services and/or operational changes.
Deliver services according to project plans and architectural and governance mechanisms to ensure overall compliance and improved service delivery.
Conduct business requirements analysis and design Cloud Services, taking into consideration SITA's GPCE cloud product offering and achieving this in accordance with Business Take on Framework (BTOF) defined processes.
Model Target Business Solution Specification in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government
Support Target Business Solution Specification in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government
Manage client's expectations, to ensure that Cloud solutions meet client needs.
Participate in Cloud product testing in accordance with approved /accepted test methodologies.
Participate in packaging and releasing of cloud products in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum: 3-year Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent/NQF level 6 with 360 credits.
Certifications: ITIL foundation, TOGAF, AWS, CCNE Cloud certification Cloud Platform and Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
Experience: 3-5 years' experience in business analysis, business process management and business process engineering/reengineering. Including experience in business modelling. experience in business architecture.
Experience in IT products design and/or analysis of IT Systems Operations / Management; Database architecture and/or Virtualization; IP Networking; Storage; IT Security; Experience with working with operational teams to ensure a supportable architecture/solution.
