Job Purpose


The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business needs and translating them into functional requirements for software development projects.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Scrutinize business processes and activities within the project environment, map them and analyze their effectiveness and necessity according to the regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, users, and project teams, to identify and understand their requirements, objectives, and constraints. Conduct discussions to gather and analyze business needs.
Identify opportunities for improving the business processes and conduct structured meetings to gather requirements and uncover expectations.
Researching and discovering the processes, regulations, internal and external policies used in the regulatory environment to monitor and prove compliance for developed system.
Development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
Review, fine-tune, and prioritize formal written business requirements.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and understanding between both parties.
Identify gaps between current and desired business processes, and propose process improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the implications of proposed changes.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software development and business analysis. Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives within the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios and test cases. Participate in UAT execution and coordinate issue resolution between business users and the development team.
Articulate ideas both technical and non-technical.
Any other task as assigned by the business.


Qualifications/skills/competencies required


Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Excellent technical, problem solving, analytical thinker, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, demonstrated ability to anticipate next steps, take initiative, exercise discretion, and apply sound judgment.
A team player/ ability to think out of box and demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities.
Entry-level certifications such as Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), or similar certifications are a plus.
1+ years as a Business Analyst in Software Development.
Have strong organizational and communication skills, including presentation skills.
Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
