Job Purpose
The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving growth by identifying and securing opportunities within the oil & gas sector, with a strong focus on pipeline projects and NAPIMS, NUIMS-related deals.
This role requires a proactive individual who can build strategic relationships, manage client engagements, and contribute to Felton's long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in pipeline projects and EPCM services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, OEMs, and regulatory bodies (NAPIMS, NUIMS experience required).
Monitor and identify RFPs, RFQs, and tender opportunities; assist in bid preparation and proposal development.
Support the creation and execution of business development strategies to expand Felton's market presence.
Engage in negotiations and assist in structuring deals to secure profitable contracts.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Represent Felton at industry events, exhibitions, and forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client interactions, and pipeline reports in CRM systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and project execution.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience & Skills:
3 - 5 years proven experience in Business Development within oil & gas, EPCM, and pipeline sectors.
Hands-on experience with NAPIMS, NUIMS processes and securing approvals.
Strong understanding of Nigerian oil & gas regulatory environment and industry dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
