Main responsibilities
Strategic growth & portfolio development: identify, develop, and launch new profitable medical products and service lines aligned with market demand and institutional strategy.
Partnerships & strategic alliances: initiate, negotiate, and manage
Strategic partnerships with insurers, corporates, pharmaceutical companies, medical suppliers, ngos, and referral networks.
Revenue & profitability management: drive revenue growth through targeted business development initiatives and cross-selling opportunities.
Market expansion & brand growth: identify new market segments and geographic expansion opportunities.
Compliance & governance: ensure all business development activities
Comply with healthcare regulations,
Ethical standards, and internal governance policies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business Administration, marketing, economics, healthcare management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the kenyan healthcare ecosystem and regulatory environment.
Proven track record in launching profitable products or services.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with clinical and non-clinical teams.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant
Experience in business development, strategy, or commercial roles within healthcare, medical facilities, pharmaceuticals, Medical devices, health insurance, or related sectors.
Experience in partnership Development, negotiations, and contract management.
