Responsibilities
Business Development:
Monitor procurement portals and industry platforms to identify business opportunities aligned with the organisation's capabilities.
Conduct market and competitor research to support bid strategy and opportunity qualification.
Bid & Tender Management
Monitor public and private procurement platforms for relevant bid and tender opportunities.
Review tender documents and evaluate bid requirements, eligibility criteria, and submission timelines.
Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through submission and post-bid activities.
Proposal Development & Documentation:
Coordinate contributions from Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, and other departments to develop comprehensive bid submissions.
Prepare capability statements, company profiles, technical responses, and supporting documentation for proposals.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all proposal documents.
Tender Compliance & Contract Support:
Verify that all submissions comply with client requirements, procurement guidelines, and internal quality standards.
Coordinate requests for bid clarifications, amendments, and additional information during the tender process.
Support contract documentation and handover activities following bid award.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients relating to bid and tender submissions.
Liaise with internal departments to obtain required documentation and approvals for bid preparation.
Coordinate communication with clients throughout the bidding process, including clarification requests and post-submission follow-up.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Track bid activities, submission status, success rates, and key performance indicators.
Prepare periodic reports on tender activities, proposal outcomes, and bid performance.
