Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, innovative, and results-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in business development, client relationship management, proposal development, market research, and strategic partnerships within a dynamic consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
Identify and qualify potential clients across the public, private, and development sectors.
Maintain and update the business development pipeline and client database.
Support the preparation of proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), capability statements, and presentations.
Monitor procurement portals and identify relevant tender opportunities.
Assist in developing marketing materials and digital content.
Support client meetings, networking events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Prepare business development reports and maintain accurate records.
Follow up with prospective clients and partners to strengthen business relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree (completed or final year) in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in business development, consulting, and client engagement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
