We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth within the solar energy sector. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy professional with a strong understanding of renewable energy, who can identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and secure high-value contracts.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
Develop strategies to expand into new markets and sectors
Generate leads through networking, partnerships, and digital channels
Drive end-to-end sales processes including negotiations and deal closure
Manage and deliver Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) proposals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders
Develop compelling proposals and presentations
Identify and secure partnerships with installers, financiers, and government bodies
Secure funding for solar and EPC projects
Work with finance teams to structure viable investment opportunities
Manage government contracts, registrations, and tender processes


Requirements:


Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus
10+ years in sales, with 5+ in the solar industry
Strong industry network and proven sales success
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
