We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales growth and market expansion across Anambra, Delta and Edo States. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement regional business plans to achieve sales and growth targets across Anambra, Delta and Edo States.
Drive market expansion by onboarding new distributors and wholesalers in un-serviced and underdeveloped locations.
Manage Business Area P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Build and maintain a strong performance management culture within the sales team.
Oversee credit risk management and ensure adherence to company credit policies.
Champion flawless in-trade execution across all assigned markets.
Manage and safeguard trade assets within the Business Development Area.
Strengthen customer relationship management, optimize profitability, and support van sales operations.
Recruit, train, coach, and manage the regional sales team while monitoring performance to ensure targets are achieved.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to guide strategic decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any relevant field (MBA is an added advantage).
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in the Wine & Spirits industry.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple territories.
Proven ability to position and differentiate products against competitors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Candidate must reside either in Anambra, Delta or Edo States.
