Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will drivebusiness growth by identifying and acquiring new clients through strategic research, networking, and compelling pitches.
Builds and maintains strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
Develops tailored proposals in collaboration with internal creative and strategy teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Conducts market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights that inform business strategies.
Tracks performance metrics, optimizes conversion strategies, and represents the agency at industry events to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition:
Identify and target potential clients through research , pitches and networking.
Develop and execute strategies to engage new clients and win new business.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure client satisfaction.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Analyze client needs and industry developments to inform business strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with creative, and strategy teams to align efforts and ensure seamless project execution.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to meet client objectives.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor and report on business development metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Networking and Brand Promotion:
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the agency and build connections.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Communications etc.
Master's Degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Marketing/Communications) will be an advantage.
3 - 5 years of progressive experience in Business development, Media, advertising, or communications industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing client relationships and closing deals.
Experience in Experience in: Digital media, Content strategy, Partnerships and sponsorships, Strategic market expansion is desirable.
