Job Summary
Our client, a well-established organization is seeking to recruit an business development officer with office administration experience to run the day-to-day operations of the organization in their branches outside Nairobi.
The ideal candidate should competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision, self-motivated and trustworthy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies;
Market the organization and source for work within the assign area;
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.);
Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures;
Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data;
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary;
Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned;
Assist colleagues and clients whenever necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience of at least 2 years as a business development officer;
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
Familiarity with office management procedures;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
Experience working in a service industry will be an added advantage;
Diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is an added advantage.
