Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer with strong experience in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise working with International Oil Companies (IOCs), as well as hands-on experience in bidding and tendering processes.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and build strong client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil and gas industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with International Oil Companies (IOCs)
Manage end-to-end bidding and tendering processes, including proposal preparation and submission
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning strategies for tenders
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets
Prepare and deliver business presentations and reports.
Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts. This includes preparation of presentations and tenders.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in management and as a sales lead within the oil and gas sector.
Proven experience working with International Oil Companies (IOCs).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in bidding and tendering processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience in maximizing business opportunities in the Upstream Sector of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.
Ability to work independently and meet targets as a business development specialist.
In-depth knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Sector.
