Job Summary


We are seeking a strategic Business Operations Lead to lead our dynamic team and drive growth across our physical store, and online channels.
This role requires a strategic leader with a passion for retail, textiles, and digital innovation. You will oversee daily operations, optimize profitability, and ensure seamless coordination between in-store and online sales.


Key Functions
Team Leadership & Coordination:


Manage and mentor a team of sales attendants, shop assistants, inventory manager, and part-time business development personnel.
Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performance. ○ Foster collaboration between in-store staff and digital/online teams.


Store Operations & Efficiency:


Oversee daily operations of the physical outlet, ensuring smooth workflows and excellent customer service.
Optimize staffing schedules to align with peak sales hours and customer footfall.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.


Digital Channel Management:


Coordinate with the website team to ensure product listings, inventory updates, and order fulfillment align with physical store operations.
Oversee Instagram and WhatsApp channels (e.g., promotions, customer queries, content calendars).
Collaborate with the part-time business development person to execute growth strategies (e.g., partnerships, seasonal campaigns).


Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight:


Work closely with the inventory manager to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure timely replenishment
Monitor trends to forecast demand (e.g., seasonal fabrics, popular designs).


Financial Accountability:


Track daily/weekly sales performance across all channels.
Prepare monthly profitability reports and identify areas for improvement.
Manage budgets for staffing, inventory, and marketing.


Customer Experience:


Ensure seamless integration of online and offline customer journeys (e.g., in-store pickup for online orders).
Address escalated customer complaints and feedback.


Qualifications:


Experience: 3 - 5 years in retail management, preferably in textiles, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
Proficiency in inventory management software and e-commerce platforms
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with social media marketing.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
