About the Client:
Our client is seeking a responsible and reliable caretaker to oversee the day-to-day operations of its residential property in Kasarani, Nairobi, ensuring the property is well-maintained and tenant concerns are handled professionally.
Job Requirements
Minimum KCSE mean grade of C- (minus) or above.
Previous experience in caretaking, property management, facilities management, or a related role is an added advantage.
Must be based in Kasarani or willing to relocate.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle tenant concerns and complaints professionally.
Basic maintenance and problem-solving skills.
Must be honest, disciplined, reliable, and responsible.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Flexibility to adjust working hours when required.

Job Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned property.
Attend to tenants' concerns, complaints, and requests and ensure timely resolution.
Monitor the general cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the property.
Identify and report maintenance issues, faults, and repairs required within the property.
Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and service providers where necessary.
Monitor common areas and ensure they are maintained in good condition.
Assist in ensuring proper adherence to property rules and regulations.
Conduct regular checks of the property and report any security, maintenance, or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues, incidents, and other property-related matters.
Follow up on repairs and ensure reported issues are addressed.
Maintain good working relationships with tenants, contractors, and other service providers.
Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate serious issues to management.
Ensure the property remains orderly, secure, and well-maintained.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
