JOB PURPOSE
To deliver cash centre operations service excellence, profitability, compliance to cash operations and reconciliation controls through adherence to, Standard Operating Procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process all received consignments within agreed SLAs.
Deliver customer Service excellence.
Ensure accurate cash packing for delivery to bank branches, CBK and ATMs.
Develop and implement operational and reconciliation controls.
Conduct a 3-way vault balance every 24 hours.
Keep vaults secured (Kaba lock and alarmed) when not in use.
Maintain an up-to-date and accurate vault ledger.
Develop risk mitigation processes and drive compliance in cash operations.
Perform weekly audits of cash centre assets and report any issues.
Regularly check and manage ATM cassettes, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
Reconcile all consignments against collection receipts and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure no missing consignments; recheck and report all variances.
Verify cash weight and ATM packing accuracy; ensure compliance with insurance limits and supervise cash officers' performance.
Supervising cash officers and assessing their performances.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Cash in Transit & Cash Centre industry.
Minimum of 5 years people management experience in an operational environment.
Able to work under minimum supervision.
Able to build a good spirit of teamwork among people.
Able to effectively analyze work-related problems and decide the best course of action within the scope of responsibility.
General computer skills and Ms Suite Proficiency. Keen eye for detail.
Good report writing skills.
