RCL believes in doing more! We are passionate about our commitment to providing more food to more people more often. A vacancy exist for a Cashier at our Secubda Depot in the Mpumalanga. This position will report to the Depot Manager.
The successful incumbents will be responsible for collecting and balancing all cash received from the drivers on a daily basis.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (with maths & accounting)
2 - 3 years' experience as a cashier or bank experience as well as general office experience
Computer skills (Word, Excel and Syspro)
Honest
Organised
Ability to work under pressure.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to use own initiative
Good wriitten and verbal skills
High Level of Accuracy
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and recount cash from Drivers
Process payment against the correct driver receipt
Make up bank, ensuring that it balance daily
Record cash and cheques in cash- up summary
Cash up on a daily basis
Prepare deposit for bank
Record seal numbers in register
Keep the cash office door locked at all times
Lock cash in safe overnight
Report discrepancies to Management
Cash balances to Cashier report
Capture information on Syspro
Submit cash summary on daily basis to Cashbook clerk
