Key Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, and mobile money transactions accurately and efficiently.
Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
Balance the cash register daily and prepare detailed cash reports for management review.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions to ensure financial accountability.
Assist guests and staff with payment inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal control systems.
Report any discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial transactions promptly to management.
Support end-of-day reconciliations and handovers to the finance department.
Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area and ensure security of all financial documents and cash.
Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience as a cashier in hospitality or retail environments.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
High level of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or cashiering systems.
