Casual Labourer

Job Summary We are hiring casual laborers to support a time-bound physical audit of motorcycle logbooks. The role involves working closely with the Logbook & NTSA Compliance Officer to count, verify, scan, and file approximately 5,000 motorcycle logbooks within a one-month period. The position is hands-on, detail-oriented, and requires strong computer literacy and a collaborative work ethic. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Count and sort physical logbooks from the secure cabinet by registration series. Retrieve individual logbooks and match them against the Looker-based Excel checklist. Update the Excel workbook by marking each record as Yes (logbook found) or No (logbook missing). Scan physical logbooks using the designated scanning equipment. Rename scanned files according to the motorcycle's registration number and series. Batch and upload digital files to SharePoint, organized by registration series. Return physical logbooks to the cabinet in the correct series order after scanning. Flag and escalate any irregularities or unclear records to the Compliance Officer immediately. Maintain accurate daily progress logs and update the team on work completed.
