Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring the safe and effective operation of Cath Lab imaging, monitoring, and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and support Cath Lab imaging and haemodynamic monitoring systems.
Assist during coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker/CIED and other interventional cardiac procedures.
Prepare, test and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with Biomedical Engineering/OEM teams.
Work closely with cardiologists, nurses and other clinical staff during procedures.
Support equipment commissioning, testing and user training.
Requirements
Degree/HND or relevant qualification in Cardiac Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Radiography/Medical Imaging or related field.
3 - 5 years of dedicated Cath Lab/interventional cardiology experience.
Strong experience with angiography, fluoroscopy and haemodynamic monitoring.
Experience with PCI and pacemaker/CIED procedures is highly desirable.
Knowledge of radiation safety, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and QA.
Ability to work effectively under pressure during critical procedures.
