Key Responsibilities


Technical management of the Outage function
Medium and long term outage plan (prioritisation, risk identification and mitigation).
Liaising with System Operating Control (SOC), Network Management Centres (NMC's), Generation, Distribution and NTCSA Grids with regards to outage related matters, to ensure resolution on any problems.
System corridor information update.
Operational documentation.
NTCSA/Distribution, Metro and Koeberg Operating Agreements
Grid Code compliance

Qualification(s):


BSc /B Eng. in Electrical Engineering at NQF 8 with 480 credits


Professional Registration Body:


Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as professional engineer

7 Years' Plant technical experience
