Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Develops the organization's long-term financial strategies.
Oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Advises the CEO and board on financial risks and opportunities.
Ensures accurate and timely financial statements.
Oversees compliance with accounting standards.
Ensures adherence to tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Performs internal audits to assess the organization's financial procedures, identify risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.
Preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining tax records, and providing tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Leads and supervises the finance and accounting teams.
Fosters a culture of accountability and financial discipline.
Works with other departments to achieve the overall objectives of the organisation.


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related courses from a reputable educational institution
A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in a Chief Financial Officer Role.
Knowledgeable in the use of ERP like Quickbooks, Sage, Zoho, SAP etc.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with office gadgets and applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Membership of ICAN, ACCA etc is required.
Applicants residing within the mainland axis and environs are preferred.
