In this role, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Managing Director responsible for maximizing executive effectiveness and driving organizational alignment. This role acts as a trusted advisor, project manager and communication bridge between the Managing Director, executive leadership, staff, and key external stakeholders. The Chief of Staff streamlines strategic initiatives, oversees cross functional projects and ensures that business objectives are met efficiently and collaboratively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Partner with the Managing Director and executive team to develop, prioritize, and execute strategic business initiatives Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely delivery.
Evaluate risks and opportunities in key business decisions, providing data-driven recommendations
Operational Coordination & Follow-Up
Act as the primary liaison between the Managing Director and department heads, ensuring clear communication and accountability
Monitor and report on the progress of high-priority projects, addressing bottlenecks proactively
Oversee company-wide KPIs, tracking performance and recommending improvements
Project & Programme Management
Lead cross-functional projects and manage special initiatives that require executive oversight
Coordinate and track progress of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
Meeting & Decision Support
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate executive meetings to ensure focus and actionable outcomes
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and operational analyses for the Managing Director and senior leadership
Represent the Managing Director in strategic discussions, answering inquiries and making decisions on their behalf when required
Performance & Efficiency Enhancement
Advise department heads on operational improvements to enhance team productivity.
Provide hands-on support in turning ideas into actionable plans, monitoring execution, and measuring impact.
Drive continuous improvement by refining processes and ensuring best practices across functions.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Engineering, Economics, Finance or other relevant field
5+ years of experience in a leadership role with exposure to multiple business functions (management consulting, operations, strategy, finance, HR, etc.)
Proven track record in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Adaptability, and problem-solving agility
