The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations and ensuring that business processes run efficiently and effectively. The COO works closely with senior management to implement strategic plans, optimize operational performance, and drive sustainable growth while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:


Comprehensively coordinate the daily operational management of the factory, formulate and implement core operational systems for production, quality, logistics, and safety, ensure the factory operates efficiently and orderly, and achieve annual production goals and business targets.
Lead the formulation and execution of the factory's production plans, allocate human, material, and financial resources reasonably, optimize production processes, reduce production costs, improve production efficiency and product qualification rates, and ensure timely order delivery.
Establish and improve the factory's safety management system and quality management system, strictly comply with Nigerian labor laws, environmental protection regulations, and industry standards, organize safety training and quality control activities, and prevent major safety accidents and mass quality issues.
Be responsible for building and managing the local factory team, including recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and motivating local employees, creating a cohesive and high-performing operations team, while coordinating cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth internal communication.
Connect with Nigerian local government departments, industry associations, suppliers, and customers, maintain good public relations, handle various external affairs during factory operations, and create a stable external environment for factory development.


Job Requirements:


Native of Africa, aged 35-45, with a bachelor's degree or higher; majors in business administration, engineering management, production operations, or related fields are preferred. Must have over 5 years of experience in manufacturing factory operations management, and experience in cross-cultural business operations is a plus.
Familiar with local laws and regulations, business environment, and manufacturing industry trends in Nigeria, particularly knowledgeable about local industry policies and labor market conditions in Ogun State. Able to quickly adapt to local operational needs and independently solve local operational issues.
Solid knowledge of production and operations management, proficient in core operational areas such as production planning, process optimization, quality control, and cost management. Able to improve factory operational efficiency and profitability through scientific management.
Excellent team leadership, communication and coordination, and problem-solving skills. Capable of effectively managing local teams and motivating staff, while also possessing strong cross-departmental collaboration awareness and the ability to handle external relationships.
