Job Summary
The Chief Security Officer will lead and manage all aspects of the hospital's security operations, ensuring a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while safeguarding the hospital's assets.
Key Responsibilities
Security Strategy & Policy: Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor security personnel to maintain high standards of professionalism and vigilance.
Risk Management: Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities.
Emergency Response: Lead security coordination during incidents such as theft, violence, fire outbreaks, or medical emergencies.
Access Control: Oversee access control systems to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of key areas.
Crisis Preparedness: Develop crisis intervention strategies and conduct preparedness drills.
Law Enforcement Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement and emergency responders.
Reporting & Compliance: Provide regular security reports to senior leadership and ensure compliance with best practices and regulations.
Security Technologies: Manage CCTV, alarm systems, biometrics, and other security technologies.
Incident Investigation: Lead inquiries into security breaches and recommend preventive measures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a BA / BSc / HND or equivalent qualification.
Relevant 5+ years of experience in security management or a related role.
Proven ability to manage security teams and operations in complex environments.
