Responsibilities
Translate a variety of documents from Chinese to English and vice versa
Ensure accuracy and consistency of translated content
Edit and proofread translated materials to ensure quality
Research and familiarize with industry-specific terminology
Communicate with clients and team members to clarify translation requirements and expectations
Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Stay up-to-date with current language and cultural trends to improve translation skills
Provide cultural consulting and linguistic support to clients as needed.
Requirements
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
Proven working experience as a Chinese Translator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
In-depth knowledge of Chinese culture and customs
Proficient in using translation software and tools
Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity while translating sensitive documents.
