Key Responsibilities:
Prepare beneficiaries to engage in meetings, focus group discussions, surveys, and implementation of interventions.
Facilitate churches, local leaders, and other stakeholders in decision-making meetings.
Build relationships, uplift church leaders, and encourage them as they serve their communities.
Track church progress in empowerment and service to the most vulnerable.
Provide coaching and guidance where gaps are identified.
Conduct follow-up visits to local churches, core teams, ministry teams, and beneficiaries to assess impact levels.
Provide feedback regarding project performance and emerging issues.
Discuss relevant challenges and potential solutions with pastors and core teams.
Collect data from ministry teams and households using approved tools.
Record and manage data using appropriate templates.
Represent World Relief in community-level stakeholder development meetings.
Participate in research activities and learning processes.
Convene information-sharing meetings at church and village levels.
Enhance spiritual growth among core teams, ministry teams, and other groups.
Conduct and lead Bible studies under the guidance of the CEZ Promoter.
Maintain records of church-level and church network-level activities.
Track formation and functionality of ministries, teams, and sub-groups (volunteers).
Prepare and submit monthly narrative reports.
Compile and write success and impact stories.
These responsibilities may comprise additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal education, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training.
A Diploma in Community Development, Theology, or a related field
Demonstrate verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong team player able to work with a variety of people, but also possess the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Ability to teach and influence others.
Must be a resident of Kajiado West (Iloodokilani Ward) or Kajiado North sub-counties.
Commitment to the Church and its mandate to serve communities as an agent of transformation..
Experience in participatory approaches to rural development and training
Prior engagement in CEZ programming or similar church-based community initiatives will be an added advantage.
