JOB PURPOSE
To ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the assigned working area as well as ensuring tools and equipment are well maintained and in good condition.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily cleaning of assigned offices, bathrooms, corridor areas and public areas to the highest standards. This includes replenishing foam soap, replacing hand paper towels, tissues, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, vacuuming, mopping and dusting daily.
Ensuring the upkeep of the Executive offices, Pharmacy and Radiology.
Maintaining an orderly cleaning detergents and trolley.
Ensure water dispensers are well cleaned, water cups present and water is refilled on time.
Inspect your entire working area and ensure all fixtures, fittings and furniture are clean, well arranged and in good condition. Monitor your cleaning areas, safety during cleaning and security i.e. report any missing item to your supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate Hospitality, Housekeeping or equivalent.
At least 1 year as Cleaner/Housekeeper.
Experience in hospital set-up will be an added advantage.
Knowledge in housekeeping SOPs of cleaning and techniques.
