Cleaner - Restaurant at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Our client, a busy restaurant in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain a clean, hygienic and organised restaurant environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across assigned areas, including dining and service areas, while observing appropriate hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities


Clean and maintain assigned restaurant areas.
Sweep, mop and clean floors regularly.
Clean tables, chairs, windows and other surfaces.
Maintain clean and hygienic washrooms.
Empty and dispose of waste appropriately.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness around kitchen and service areas.
Clean and organise cleaning equipment and supplies.
Replenish cleaning materials when required.
Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs.
Follow restaurant hygiene and safety procedures.
Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues or shortages to the supervisor.
Support general cleaning duties as assigned.


Requirements


Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
Good understanding of cleaning and hygiene standards.
Ability to maintain a consistently clean environment.
Good personal hygiene.
Reliable, hardworking and responsible.
Physically capable of carrying out routine cleaning duties.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays where required.
