Requirements :
Be able to read and write. No experience required. Sedibeng District EPWP and Interns (including EPWP contract ended).
Duties :
Cleaning of floors (sweep, mop and buffing with cleaning machines). Cleaning of walls, windows, doors and window frames, bathrooms, showers and lockers, dusting, washing and polishing furniture.
Cleaning corridors, public toilets, offices, clinics, entrances, stairs, fire escapes, side walls, lifts, passages, waiting areas, equipment and carpets. Removal of medical and general waste, cleaning bins and flattening cardboard boxes. Adhere to the health care waste management policy and infection control prescripts.
Operate heavy duty cleaning machines. Provide clean and hygienic environment. Defrost and clean unit refrigerator; refill soap containers. Care for and cleaning of unit kitchen; controlling of stock in the kitchen and report to supervisor. Keeping trolleys clean. Controlling of stock in the kitchen and bathroom. Completion of daily work activities on cleaning control list. To adhere to all cleaning service policies and procedures. Adhere to timelines. Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
Perform other duties as allocated by the supervisor. Be willing to undergo continuous training and development programs. Attend meetings and training as approved by supervisor. Comply with the Performance Management and Development System (Contracting, quarterly reviews and final assessment). (Contracting, reviewing, and final evaluation).
