Key Responsibilities:


Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat common medical conditions and minor surgical procedures.
Prescribe appropriate medication and therapies in accordance with established treatment guidelines.
Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic test and laboratory results.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Refer complex cases to specialist physicians or higher-level medical facilities where necessary.
Maintain up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Provide patient education on disease prevention and health promotion.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethics at all times.


Desirable Qualifications:


Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) or any other accredited institution.
Valid practicing licence from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinic experience.
