Position Overview
This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented operator capable of operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications and safety standards.
The role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring product accuracy, and supporting efficient production processes while working closely with production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathe and / or milling machines.
Load CNC programs and configure tools and machine parameters.
Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
Identify and report defects, tool wear, and equipment issues.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Comply with HSE policies and proper use of PPE.
Work with the team to meet production targets and reduce downtime.
Support continuous improvement and efficient machining practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background: B.Eng./B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing or automotive company.
Technical Proficiency:Strong knowledge of CNC machine processes, tooling, materials, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Measurement & Quality: Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments and understanding of quality control
standards.
