Translate the blueprints and dimensions on drawings to perform aligning, loading, operating, and other related tasks.
Oil and grease the machines and ensuring their proper workability.
Adjust the operating speed and control the load of the machines.
Arrange and set up the material handling equipment and machineries.
Monitor the machine operations to see that the finished products and components are aptly matching with the quality and quantity constraints of the company.
Provide minor specifications to upgrade the systems as required.
Examine and discard defective goods and packaging components.
Replenish, stock, and sort the packaging supplies.
Recalibrate and clean the machineries after completing the production activities.
Maintain a report of the total measure of products manufactured per day.
Check the newly installed machines for their efficiency and delivering a report for the same to supervisor.
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of machines.
Carry out routine maintenance and perform spot inspections of parts.
Fix machines that have broken down.
Conduct periodic checks on output efficiency.
Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed.
Control and adjust machine settings to start a production cycle.
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
Test operation of machines periodically and fix issues that might occur during the shift.
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
Maintain activity logs.


Requirements


High School diploma or its equivalent. Certified in Precision Sheet Metal Operator (PSMO), Computer Numerical Control (CNC), and/or any other relevant certification is a plus.
Min 3-5 years of proven work experience as Machine Operator in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
