We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Professional with strong expertise in Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) trading and agribusiness. The successful candidate will initially lead sales operations for a 6-month period, with a structured transition into a Procurement Manager role, responsible for sourcing and supply chain optimization of FFB. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid network in the palm oil value chain and a deep understanding of both market dynamics and sourcing strategies.
Job Details
Sales Management (First 6 Months)
Drive sales of FFB and related agricultural produce to meet and exceed revenue targets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with processors, off-takers, and distributors
Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with clients
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
Procurement Management
Lead the sourcing and procurement of FFB from plantations, out-growers, and aggregators
Build and manage a reliable supplier network across key regions
Negotiate competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiency
Ensure consistent supply to meet production demands
Monitor quality standards and compliance with company requirements
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams for seamless supply chain execution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 7 - 10 years' experience in agricultural sales and/or procurement (FFB experience is mandatory)
Strong network within the palm oil/FFB value chain
Proven track record in sales performance and supplier management
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to transition from commercial sales to supply chain/procurement role
High level of integrity, accountability, and result orientation
