About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and well-connected Commercial Manager to lead
revenue growth and strategic partnerships within the luxury events and hospitality space.
This is a high-impact role suited for a candidate with strong networks across Africa who can originate, structure, and close high-value partnerships while driving market expansion from a Kenya-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy aligned with revenue targets
Identify and unlock new revenue streams across events, sponsorships, and partnerships
Drive sustainable revenue growth through innovative and scalable commercial models
Monitor performance and continuously optimize commercial outcomes
Partnerships & Business Development
Identify, engage, and secure high-value partnerships with luxury brands, hospitality
groups, corporates, and institutions
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and retention
Develop tailored commercial proposals, sponsorship packages, and integrated campaigns
Position the organization as a premium partner within the luxury ecosystem
Deal Structuring & Negotiation
Lead the full deal lifecycle from prospecting to closing
Negotiate complex, high-value agreements that maximize commercial returns
Structure multi-platform partnerships spanning events, brand experiences, and content
Ensure contractual compliance and alignment with business objectives
Event Commercialization & Sponsorship
Drive sponsorship revenue for high-profile events and experiences
Design compelling partnership packages and tiered sponsorship models
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and partner satisfaction
Deliver measurable ROI and value for partners
Pipeline Management & Forecasting
Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline of opportunities
Track performance metrics, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts
Provide regular insights and reporting to senior leadership
Market Expansion & Positioning
Identify and penetrate new markets and sectors across Africa
Leverage industry knowledge to stay ahead of trends in luxury, events, and hospitality
Represent the organization at industry events and high-level networking forums

Candidate Profile
7 - 12+ years' experience in commercial roles within luxury, events, hospitality, or related
sectors
Proven track record of securing and managing high-value partnerships
Strong network across Africa (candidates may be from other African markets but must be willing to be based in Kenya)
Experience working across multiple markets is highly desirable
