We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and creative Programs Manager to join our team and design, lead, and scale a new program that addresses one of the most pressing challenges faced by Nigerian youth.
This isn't your typical job posting. We're not just hiring a Program Manager—we're looking for a Changemaker ready to develop and launch a high-impact initiative within one of YEDI's strategic focus areas.
Our Area of Focus:
Health & Sanitation - Programs that improve access to healthcare, mental health support, disease prevention, and reproductive health education.
Climate Change - Initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, climate action, renewable energy solutions, and community-led conservation efforts.
Women's Empowerment - Programs that support gender equality, economic opportunities for young women, Coaching, leadership development, and access to education.
Youth Unemployment - Solutions that provide employability skills, entrepreneurship training, and innovative job creation strategies.
Requirements
The Applicant must:
Hold a University degree with at least 5 years of working experience in the nonprofit or social sector.
Be based in Lagos, Nigeria and between 25 - 35 years old.
Have demonstrated experience and track record working in the program area of choice.
Present a clear vision for the proposed program to have a measurable impact on young people and fall into one of YEDI's four focus areas. The program must represent scalability.
Demonstrate excellent sense of responsibility and discipline.
Be passionate about working with youths.
