Tasks to be undertaken under the supervision of substantive experts will include:
Support the development of in-house meeting coverage of the Secretariat's annual Open- ended Working Group meetings and the annual Meetings of the Parties.
Support the development of global communication campaigns to mark World Ozone Day and the 10th anniversary of the Kigali Amendment.
Support meetings taking place during the internship period by providing communications, branding and logistical assistance at both the meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (July) and Meeting of the Parties (November).
Qualifications/special skills
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); in environmental sciences, communications studies, or a related field;
be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme in environmental sciences, communications studies, or a related field (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent). Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
