Job Purpose

Leading community engagement efforts and ensuring the involvement of target communities in all phases of the project. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing a community engagement plan that includes introductory sessions, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Building positive relationships with local councils, civil society organizations, and community leaders.
  • Leading the community engagement team and distributing daily task
  • Ensuring the integration of gender considerations in the design and implementation of activities.
  • Managing and analyzing feedback from communities to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Preparing regular reports on community satisfaction and engagement with the project. Preparing regular reports on community satisfaction and engagement with the project.

Academic Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills

  • Experience in community work within humanitarian or agricultural contexts.
  • High leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable groups and rural communities.
  • Proficiency in preparing analytical and narrative reports.
