MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric
BRCGS or HACCP certification
2 - 3 years packhouse compliance experience
Knowledge of food safety auditing
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Monitor and interpret regulatory, food safety, quality, and health & safety requirements
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance walkthroughs
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances, including root cause analysis
Maintain accurate compliance documentation and reporting
Coordinate pest control, environmental monitoring, glass control, HACCP, and food safety meetings
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and risk assessments are correctly implemented
Analyse test results and provide timely feedback to management
Support audit scheduling, communication, and reporting
Ensure staff training on packhouse processes, standards, and regulations
Manage consumables and perform stock control
Perform additional duties as required, including off-season tasks
