A Computer Operator in a logistics company is responsible for managing and updating data related to shipments, inventory, and deliveries. The role supports smooth coordination between warehouse operations, dispatch, and administration to ensure timely and accurate logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update shipment, delivery, and inventory data
Monitor tracking systems and delivery status
Generate reports on dispatch, stock, and deliveries
Maintain records of waybills, invoices, and delivery notes
Coordinate with warehouse staff and drivers for accurate information
Ensure timely processing of orders and dispatch documentation
Report system or data issues promptly
Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Minimum of OND or equivalent
