Job Description
The successful candidates will provide specialist medical care within their respective fields, supporting accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, patient safety, and high-quality clinical outcomes.
You will work closely with other doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and hospital management as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Manage patients within your area of specialty in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
Review investigations and provide appropriate clinical interpretation.
Participate in multidisciplinary patient management where required.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives.
Provide professional guidance and mentorship where applicable.
Maintain high standards of ethics, professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centred care.
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in the relevant specialty.
Current registration and licence to practise with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Relevant clinical experience as a specialist/consultant.
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
Commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
