Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time position for a Consultant Neurologist based in Lagos.
The Consultant Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex neurological disorders, managing patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional medical services.
The role involves interpreting diagnostic tests, such as EEGs, providing expertise in areas like epilepsy and movement disorders, and staying current with advancements in neurological research and treatments.
Active participation in patient-centered care and medical research is expected.
Qualifications
Proven expertise and training in Medicine and Neurology
Specialized skills in managing and treating Epilepsy and Movement Disorders
Proficiency with EEG tests and interpreting results
Strong diagnostic and patient care skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Board certification in Neurology or equivalent qualification
Commitment to continuous medical education and staying updated on advancements in neurological studies
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting, with preference for expertise in neurosurgical or specialized neurological cases
