Job Summary
IRES is seeking an experienced Consultant Trainer - Mechanical Engineering to deliver technical training, professional development programmes, workshops and mechanical engineering consultancy assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver technical training programmes in mechanical engineering.
Develop training materials, presentations, case studies and practical exercises.
Facilitate technical workshops and professional learning sessions.
Translate technical concepts and industry practices into practical learning.
Provide technical input into training proposals, curricula and consultancy assignments.
Provide technical advisory and subject-matter expertise on mechanical engineering assignments.
Keep training content current with relevant technologies, standards and industry practices.
Assess participant learning and provide constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Production Engineering.
Relevant Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
Registered and licensed by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
Current membership of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
Relevant professional certification in the consultant's area of specialisation, where applicable.
Demonstrated experience in professional training, facilitation, technical presentations or knowledge transfer.
