We are a leading global venture law firm dedicated to supporting startups, scale-ups, and investors as they navigate the complexities of venture capital, corporate law, and innovation-driven ecosystems.
We are seeking a creative and strategic Content and Communication Associate to join our Lagos team.
In this role, you will own and execute a content strategy that reflects our firm's brand, values, and expertise and deliver communications across multiple channels in line with our style guidelines.
You will work closely with and report to the partners for approvals on strategy and execution.
A background in law is a bonus, but proven experience in content strategy and multi-channel communications is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a clear thinker who takes ownership, communicates effectively, identifies compelling stories and collaborates across departments to advance our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management: Own the firm's campaigns end-to-end, from research and proposals to delivery, coordinating with external stakeholders as needed.
Content Strategy & Execution: Own and drive a unified content plan that meets the firm's business goals while adapting to market needs.
Communications & Presentations: Manage the firm's communications and presentations across digital and traditional channels to support its marketing and business development plans.
Collaboration & Simplification: Manage relationships with internal teams, legal experts, and external agencies to turn complex legal ideas into clear, engaging content for multiple platforms.
Content Creation & Management: Lead the production of various content types, articles, blogs, case studies, and more, while managing an editorial calendar for consistent, timely publishing.
Digital Marketing & Optimisation: Partner with the digital team to optimise content across the firm's website, platforms, and social media, using analytics to guide strategic improvements and SEO positioning.
Industry Insights & Strategic Support: Stay informed about legal and market trends to offer strategic insights that drive innovative content and support brand growth.
Internal Communications: Curate and share relevant news and industry intelligence with the TLP team to support internal knowledge transfer
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms.
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into actionable content plans.
Demonstrated track record of delivering multi-channel campaigns end-to-end.
Experience with SEO, digital analytics tools, and social media platforms.
Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership to achieve results.
Ability to design documents and presentations that align with the firm's brand.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
