Content Creator at Tana

Position overview


We are looking for a talented Content Creator to launch, and be the face of, Tana's channels for early-career professionals in Kenya. This is a rare opportunity to build a brand from zero with real backing behind you: you will be on camera as a recurring personality, and you will own everything behind the scenes - ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing. Starting with short-form video and growing into long-form and live formats, you will work directly with the leadership team to turn insider hiring knowledge and real success stories into content that changes careers.


Responsibilities


Be on camera as the recurring face of Tana's channels, creating engaging, authentically Kenyan content.
Own production end to end: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing to a consistent, high-quality cadence.
Build the content operation from the ground up: calendar, playbook, kit, and channels.
Coordinate on-camera appearances from team members and Tana talent, telling real career stories.
Evolve the content mix over time, from short-form video into long-form, live, and community formats, using performance data to double down on what works.


Requirements


A strong portfolio of video content demonstrating both on-camera presence and hands-on production skill, gained over approx 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Confident and authentic on camera, with storytelling instincts that hook an audience in seconds.
Strong end-to-end production skills: planning, shooting, and editing polished video single-handedly.
Platform-native instincts for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with a sharp eye for what is trending.
Organised, self-directed, and AI-native, with the drive to publish consistently, week after week.

Location


This is a hybrid position based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a minimum of 3 days in the office (Tuesday - Thursday).
