Job Description
On of our clients is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Officer to manage commercial contracts and support the organisation's contract lifecycle management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with User Departments, Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure contracts accurately capture agreed commercial terms and comply with internal policies and requirements.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage commercial agreements, rate contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
Coordinate with User Departments, Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to gather contract requirements and ensure compliance with company policies.
Ensure contracts accurately reflect agreed commercial terms, pricing, service levels, responsibilities, and obligations.
Maintain contract templates, standard terms and conditions, and contract repositories.
Track contract approvals, renewals, amendments, expirations, and other key contractual milestones.
Support contract negotiations by preparing documentation and incorporating agreed changes.
Monitor contract compliance and support the resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
Prepare contract-related reports, summaries, trackers, and management updates.
Support effective contract lifecycle administration and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracts, commercial administration, procurement, or a related field.
Strong contract drafting, review, and documentation skills.
Good understanding of commercial terms, procurement processes, and contract management principles.
Strong knowledge of contract preparation and rate contract management.
Experience in contract lifecycle administration and tracking.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
Good organisational and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
