Key Purpose Statement
The primary role of the Control and Automation Specialist is maintaining and optimizing plant controls/automation to original installed state, safeguarding availability, quality, and cost while championing continuous improvement in a fast-moving FMCG environment. You'll also coach artisans and operators to strengthen line capability and problem-solving across shifts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Providespecialist C&A support to shift teams (standby/day support), guide fault finding and effective responses to failure modes; ensure lines run at rated speed and KPIs are met.
Lead/participate in planned, routine, and running maintenance, including documentation and ERP administration; optimize PM schedules and plant availability.
Drive problem solving (situational/systemic), escalate and engage OEMs where needed; share learnings across sites/region.
Uphold safety, 5S, and risk management; conduct risk assessments and support disaster recovery plans.
Maintain system architecture and documentation integrity in line with CCBA C&A standards; continuously optimize dynamic line control and perform line capability audits.
Support projects and NPD trials (adherence to procedures; change control records).
Train and coach Process Artisans, Machine Specialists, and Operators in autonomous maintenance and standard work.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience
5 years in Controls/Automation/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Familiarity with Packaging machines

Knowledge in PLC programming,HMI development, MSD 365 and ERP
